Quartz Care & Maintenance Guide
Quartz surfaces are durable, non-porous, and designed for everyday living. With simple care, your quartz countertops will stay beautiful for years.
Daily Cleaning
For routine cleaning:
-
Use a soft cloth or sponge
-
Clean with warm water and mild dish soap
-
Wipe dry with a clean towel to prevent streaks
Avoid harsh scrubbing pads that may dull the surface over time.
What to Avoid
Quartz is highly stain-resistant, but not indestructible. Avoid exposing the surface to:
-
Strong chemicals (bleach, oven cleaners, paint removers)
-
Highly acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon-based cleaners)
-
Abrasive powders or scouring pads
If a spill occurs, clean it promptly.
Heat Protection
Quartz is not heat-proof.
-
Always use trivets or hot pads under pots, pans, or slow cookers
-
Do not place hot cookware directly on the surface
Excessive heat can cause discoloration or cracking.
Scratch & Impact Prevention
Quartz is scratch-resistant, but sharp objects can still damage it.
-
Use cutting boards instead of cutting directly on the countertop
-
Avoid dropping heavy objects on edges or corners
